Ways to Wear: For the Party Season
Good afternoon happy campers! December is well underway now, and I hear that some parts of the UK, you lucky lot, have had your first round of snow already. My guess is that your work/Uni/college Christmas parties are fast approaching, so I’ve put together some Looks, just for you to embrace the party season this year.
Less is not always more when it comes to nights out, despite what the likes of The Only Way is Essex and Made in Chelsea might tell you! (As a sidenote, has anyone caught an episode of Desperate Scousewives yet? Should I brave a viewing?!) If you’ve seen some of my previous Ways to Wear installments, you’ll know I take a fancy to seperates and layering over a simple dress; hopefully these Looks will broaden your festive outfit mind.

Look One is a fun outfit, perfect for a Christmas meal and drinks. I’m a sucker for black, but how gorgeous is this hot pink skirt? It’d look perfect with a casual vest or Tee, so you’re not too dressed up, and at just £7.99, you can’t go wrong. It also comes in a beautiful dark/dove grey colour as well. Pop a flashy ring on, some platform heels and a faux fur stole to finish the Look.
How Would You Wear: The Christmas Jumper
Yes, it’s that time of the year… already! December is upon us, and it is finally borderline acceptable to warble Christmas songs around the house, decorate the tree (we decorated and topped our Asda Smartprice tree for under £5 last night - thumbs up for savvy Christmas-loving students!) and don your festive wardrobe.

I’ll be posting a full, Ways to Wear for the party season on Sunday afternoon, but for now, how would you wear these cute/just-tacky-enough jumpers from Topshop? Link me to your suggested items of your choice in the comments, I’d love to see how you tick! I’d pop a pair of Primark’s very own, Super Cosy tights on, a cable knit skirt and a knitted headband.
With Love, Michelle x
